CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: AIIMS Bhopal is consistently working to strengthen public health through an integrated approach to education, research, and community service. In this direction, the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery is organizing a one-day Continuing Medical Education (CME) program and departmental foundation day on 12th July 2025, focusing on the topic “Brachial Plexus Injury.”
The objective of this academic event is to familiarize doctors with the latest diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation techniques for complex nerve conditions like brachial plexus injury. The program will feature expert lectures on topics such as the anatomical structure of the brachial plexus, clinical evaluation, radiological and electrodiagnostic testing, nerve transfer, muscle transfer, pain management, and rehabilitation strategies.
Medical experts from across the country are expected to participate in the event. Notable speakers include Prof. Mukund Thatte (Bombay Hospital), Dr. Pawan Agrawal (NSCBMC, Jabalpur), Dr. Vishal Mago (AIIMS Rishikesh), Dr. Satyaswaroop Tripathi (PGIMER Chandigarh), and Dr. Arun Bhatnagar & Dr. Raja Tiwari (AIIMS Delhi).
An e-poster competition will also be held for postgraduate students, with prizes awarded to the top three entries. The event will be chaired by Dr. Manal Mohammad Khan, and Executive Director Dr. Ajay Singh praised the initiative as informative and valuable for the medical community.
