CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As per the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission and orders from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, a Vigilance Awareness Campaign is being organized at AIIMS Bhopal until November 15, 2024. As part of this campaign, a special lecture on “Cyber Hygiene and Security” was held. On this occasion, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, Ajay Singh, stated, “AIIMS Bhopal is committed to providing a safe environment for all its employees and students while raising awareness about potential cyber risks. We are dedicated to maintaining high levels of vigilance in all our operations, especially in digital security. In today’s digital world, cyber threats pose significant challenges, particularly for healthcare institutions where sensitive information is exchanged. This lecture on ‘Cyber Hygiene and Security’ aims to empower our community to strengthen digital security by adopting better cyber practices.”
The lecture on “Cyber Hygiene and Security” was delivered by Deepak Singh Tomar, Head of the Computer Science Engineering Department at MANIT Bhopal. During the lecture, he highlighted key aspects such as safe online behavior, identifying cyber threats, and protecting personal and institutional data. The insights shared by him inspired attendees to embrace digital responsibility and be vigilant about cyber security.
The objective of this lecture was to familiarize employees and students with critical aspects of cyber security and teach them measures to protect against digital threats. The ongoing Vigilance Awareness Campaign at AIIMS Bhopal emphasizes honesty, transparency, and the importance of vigilance across various domains, aligning with national efforts to promote a corruption-free and secure environment in public institutions.
