CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the leadership of Executive Director Ajay Singh, AIIMS Bhopal hosted the second chapter of its lecture series, “Doctors for the Nation.” The lecture aimed to inspire faculty, students, and participants to utilize their knowledge for the betterment of society and the creation of a healthier community.
AIIMS Bhopal Chairman Sunil Malik and Executive Director Ajay Singh shared their thoughts on the significance of the lecture. Director Singh stated, “The knowledge gained from this lecture should be implemented by all faculty, students, and participants in their lives. This will not only aid in their personal development but also play a vital role in serving society and building a healthy community.”
Chairman Sunil Malik emphasized, “This lecture will enhance the knowledge of faculty and students. It will help in character building and guide us toward making a more effective contribution to society.”
The keynote speaker, Jayantibhai Bhadesia, National Coordinator of Susanskrit Health Services, addressed the audience and stressed the importance of education as a tool for national service. He stated, “The purpose of education should always be to serve the nation. AIIMS Bhopal’s ‘Doctors for the Nation’ initiative will strengthen the foundation of the medical education system and facilitate knowledge sharing. Spirituality in medicine lies in serving patients; this is the true purpose of doctors.”
The event was attended by several key figures from AIIMS Bhopal, including Deputy Director (Administration) Colonel Ajit Kumar, Rajneesh Joshi, Dean (Academics), Professor Ashwani Tandon, Associate Dean (Academics), as well as other faculty members and students.
This lecture delivered a powerful message, reminding doctors of their responsibility to serve the nation and society.
