In line with this vision, the institute’s faculty and resident doctors made a remarkable impression at the national level during “ACUITY – A Confluence of Ideas, Sadguru Conclave 2025” organized by Sadguru Group and the All India Ophthalmological Society in the sacred land of Lord Shri Ram, Chitrakoot.
During the event, second-year academic junior residents Pratyush and Esther secured the runner-up position in the paper/poster presentation session. Their research topics—“Prevalence, Types, and Risk Factors of Presenile Cataract” and “The Tale of a Displaced Eyeball”—reflected their dedication and deep analytical abilities in medical research. Their recognition came at the hands of two Padma Shri award-winning ophthalmologists and other eminent specialists, making it a truly inspirational moment.
Additionally, Dr. Bhavana Sharma, Head of the Ophthalmology Department at AIIMS Bhopal, was awarded the “Sadguru Seva Medal” for her distinguished work in the fields of cornea and cataract. This prestigious honor, conferred by the Sadguru Group, highlights her invaluable contribution to medical service.
