CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Ajay Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, was invited as a Distinguished Guest at the prestigious Third KGMU Clubfoot Program, held at King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow. This event was jointly organized by the Cure International India Trust, the Uttar Pradesh Government, and the Pediatric Orthopedics Department of KGMU. The program focused on the 146th Medical Training Session, which was based on Ponseti Method for clubfoot management.

The training program was organized to promote a better understanding of the Ponseti technique and its widespread use, which is a globally recognized method for the correction of clubfoot, a common congenital deformity. The one-day session brought together leading pediatric orthopedic surgeons, trainees, and healthcare professionals who are dedicated to improving treatment outcomes for children affected by clubfoot.

In his address, Prof. Singh appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and emphasized the importance of early diagnosis and continuous standardized treatment methods. He praised the commitment shown towards building a future where no child suffers from untreated clubfoot and encouraged continued collaboration between institutions to align with the program’s mission: “Treat clubfoot today and make clubfoot history”.

This program strengthens the impact of the Cure India – Uttar Pradesh Clubfoot Program and further establishes KGMU’s excellence in pediatric orthopedic care and training.
