Upholding this commitment, Dr. Avinash Thakre, Additional Professor in the Department of Physiology at AIIMS Bhopal, delivered a guest lecture at the ASSOPICON UP 2025 conference, organized by the UP Association of Physiologists of India (ASSOPI UP Chapter) in Agra.
Dr. Thakre’s lecture focused on “Surface EMG: Fundamental Principles, Applications, and Challenges in Biomedical Research.” He provided valuable insights into the principles of surface electromyography (EMG), its applications in biomedical sciences, and its role in patient care. His presentation delved into the practical aspects of surface EMG, its utility in clinical settings, challenges in signal acquisition, and best practices for accurate recordings. The session was well-received by faculty members, researchers, and students, fostering meaningful discussions on the latest advancements in biomedical research.
