CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Professor (Dr.) Ajay Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, continuously promotes a culture of academic excellence and knowledge-sharing among faculty members and students. Inspired by Prof. Singh, the faculty members are excelling in various research endeavors. Recently, Dr. B.L. Soni, Assistant Professor in the Trauma and Emergency Medicine Department at AIIMS Bhopal, was honored with the prestigious “MAMS Scroll National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) membership” for his significant contributions to medical science and society. This recognition was awarded to him during the 64th Annual Conference NAMSCON 2024, held from November 21-24, 2024, at AIIMS Jodhpur.

The event was attended by dignitaries such as Hon’ble Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Secretary of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Mrs. Punya Salila Srivastava, Secretary of the Department of Biotechnology, Dr. Rajesh Sudhir Gokhale, and other prominent personalities. Established in 1961, NAMS is a leading institution that recognizes exceptional contributions to medical science and medical education. Membership is granted after a rigorous selection process, with fewer than 100 individuals chosen each year.
