CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As a significant initiative towards advancing health technology, AIIMS Bhopal and the Charak Center for Digital Healthcare, an initiative of IIT Indore, have partnered to promote research collaboration in digital healthcare solutions.
This initiative marks a crucial step towards integrating cutting-edge technologies to enhance healthcare services and encourage medical research. The event saw the presence of AIIMS Bhopal’s Executive Director, Ajay Singh, and IIT Indore’s Director, Suhās Joshi, as chief guests. Additionally, senior faculty members from both institutions, including Dean of Research Rehan Ul Haq, Amit Agarwal, Saikat Das, and Roshan Chanchlani, highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration in healthcare innovation.
A key highlight of the event was the SIDDHI 2 program, aimed at developing smart and efficient medical solutions through digital healthcare technologies. Prof. Ajay Singh and the AIIMS Bhopal team also participated in a special session showcasing advanced healthcare technologies.
Researchers from AIIMS Bhopal and IIT Indore discussed progress on individual projects, such as Medical IoT-based Health Support on Wheels and Data Management Assistance Systems for Diseases. These projects focus on leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Analytics, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to revolutionize healthcare accessibility and efficiency.
Emphasizing the importance of this collaboration, Director Ajay Singh stated, “This partnership between AIIMS Bhopal and IIT Indore is a milestone in healthcare innovation. By combining medical expertise with technological advancements, we are laying the foundation for transformative health solutions that will benefit millions.”
