CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At AIIMS Bhopal, the National Karmayogi Public Service Program is being organized from July 7 to September 4, 2025. During this period, nearly 2,500 staff members of the institute will undergo training. The objective of this special initiative is to further strengthen the ‘Citizen-First’ mindset and service spirit among all employees so that patients and their families receive an improved experience.

For this training, 26 teams have been formed at AIIMS Bhopal, comprising 52 trained facilitators. These teams will conduct around 75 one-day training sessions. A unique aspect of this program is that it does not follow the traditional model of “trainers.” Instead, it has “facilitators,” whose role is not to teach participants but to awaken and guide the service spirit already within them.

The National Karmayogi Public Service Program is a transformative initiative of the Government of India. Its aim is to make government services more citizen-centric, responsive, and transparent.

Through this program, employees get the opportunity to understand that serving the public is not just a responsibility but also a moral duty. AIIMS Bhopal believes that a citizen-focused service system will not only provide better treatment to patients but also ensure respectful and compassionate care. This program continuously inspires staff members to make healthcare services more public-oriented and accountable.
