CNN Central News & Network – ITDC India E-Press / ITDC News Bhopal: Under the guidance of Executive Director Ajay Singh, AIIMS Bhopal once again demonstrated academic excellence by securing the first and second positions in the 6th National Undergraduate Physiology Quiz. This prestigious competition was organized by the Physiology Department of AIIMS Bhopal on the institute’s campus. Teams from 35 medical institutions across the country participated in this event. Based on the preliminary screening round, the top 5 teams were selected to compete in the offline final round at AIIMS Bhopal.
The team of Human Khatri and Nayan Pandey won the first place, while Pranjal Khatri and Vedant Amlate secured the second place. Notably, both teams were from AIIMS Bhopal. The third place was awarded to the team of Ms. Maan Tyagi and Ms. Avika Jain from Mahatma Vidur Autonomous State Medical College, Bijaor, Uttar Pradesh.
On this occasion, Prof. Ajay Singh encouraged the participants with inspiring words. He stated, “Such events not only promote healthy competition among future healthcare professionals but also strengthen their analytical and clinical skills, which are crucial for delivering quality medical care.” Later, Prof. Ajay Singh and Shashank Purwar (Acting Medical Superintendent) honored the winners.
The judging panel included Prof. Rajay Bharshankar and Santosh Wakode. The quiz masters were Sandeep M. Hulke, Ruchi Singh, Avinash Thakre, and Shashidharan. The event secretary was Sandeep M. Hulke, and the entire event was successfully conducted under the leadership of the Head of the Physiology Department, Santosh Wakode.
