Under the guidance of Executive Director Ajay Singh, AIIMS Bhopal actively participated in an Organ Donation Awareness Car Rally, reinforcing its commitment to health awareness and promoting organ donation.
The rally was jointly organized by the Gandhi Medical College Alumni Organization and Kiran Foundation with the objective of dispelling myths surrounding organ donation and encouraging more people to pledge their organs to save lives.
Flag-Off by Honorable Governor
Honorable Governor Mangubhai Patel flagged off the Organ Donation Awareness Car Rally from Raj Bhavan, marking the commencement of this significant initiative. The rally passed through Atal Path and Smart City New Market, concluding at Gandhi Medical College (GMC), Bhopal, where a press conference was held to highlight key initiatives planned during the Jubilee Year Celebrations.
The event saw the participation of several distinguished dignitaries, including Honorable MP Alok Sharma. Additionally, members of the Nursing Home Organization, Indian Medical Association, Physician Forum Association, and Bhopal Orthopedic Society joined the noble initiative, showcasing their unified commitment to promoting organ donation.
Representing AIIMS Bhopal, Dr. Bhavna Sharma and Yogesh Nivaria actively participated in the rally, further strengthening the institution’s involvement in this vital cause.
