CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of World Trauma Day, the Department of Trauma and Emergency Medicine at AIIMS Bhopal organized an event themed “Prevention and Management of Workplace Injuries.” During the event, AIIMS Bhopal’s Executive Director, Ajay Singh, inaugurated a new procedure room in the Pediatric Emergency Unit.
In his inaugural address, Director Singh stated, “World Trauma Day is a significant opportunity for us to remember the importance of trauma management and emergency medicine. The establishment of this procedure room for children is a commendable step. With this new facility, we will be able to provide swift medical services to children. In addition to minor procedures such as cleaning wounds and stitching, this room will ensure that children receive treatment in a calm and safe environment, which will help improve their mental state during emergencies.”
