The first, “CME cum Workshop on Renal Pathology: From Patterns to Practice”, was designed especially for pathologists, nephrologists, and postgraduate students. Topics included the diagnosis of glomerular diseases, challenges in identifying glomerulonephritis, the latest updates in renal transplant biopsy, and the integration of histopathology with clinical findings. Live slide viewing and DIF workshops gave participants hands-on exposure to real cases. Renowned experts from across the country participated, and more than 70 attendees benefitted from lectures and interactive sessions.

The following day, in collaboration with the Department of Dermatology and the Dermatopathology Society of India, the “National CME on Practical Dermatopathology” was organized. More than 100 participants attended, engaging in in-depth discussions on tropical diseases such as leprosy, leishmaniasis, fungal infections, and cutaneous tuberculosis. Live slide viewing and e-poster presentations enriched the program further, while three outstanding posters were awarded in the competition.
Both events provided participants with knowledge, practical experience, and opportunities to interact with experts—further strengthening AIIMS Bhopal’s position in setting new benchmarks in medical education and research.
