CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the guidance of Executive Director Ajay Singh, AIIMS Bhopal consistently fosters a culture of academic excellence and knowledge-sharing among faculty and students. Recently, Ms. Akanksha Bhattacharya, a PhD scholar from the Department of Biochemistry, won the First Prize for her exceptional research presentation at the 3rd Madhya Pradesh PhD Colloquium.

This prestigious event, themed “Health, Including AYUSH,” was organized by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis (AIGGPA), Bhopal. Ms. Bhattacharya’s research focuses on developing non-invasive salivary biomarkers for the early detection of oral cancer. The innovative work is supervised by Dr. Ashok Kumar, Professor at AIIMS Bhopal. This research aims to simplify and advance oral cancer detection using non-invasive methods, contributing to early diagnosis and treatment.
