CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the leadership of AIIMS Bhopal’s Executive Director, Ajay Singh, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between AIIMS Bhopal and the Polymath Society.

The objective of this MoU is to prevent food adulteration, implement policy initiatives for the same, and provide high-quality food to society. This partnership aims to ensure food safety through research, innovation, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The MoU was signed by Dr. Arneet Arora, Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at AIIMS Bhopal, and Rajeev Singh, President of the Polymath Society.

The event took place in the esteemed presence of Madhya Pradesh’s Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Narendra Shivaji Patel. Also present were Sunil Malik, Chairman of AIIMS Bhopal; Ajay Singh, Executive Director; Rajneesh Joshi, Dean (Academics); and Prof. Rehan-ul-Haq, Dean (Research).

On this occasion, Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel stated, “This MoU is a crucial initiative towards food safety and a healthier society. It will ensure the availability of adulteration-free food and help in disease prevention.”

Sunil Malik, Chairman of AIIMS Bhopal, emphasized that the primary objective of this MoU is to formulate policies to combat food adulteration and provide quality food to society. Speaking on the significance of the collaboration, Executive Director Ajay Singh remarked, “This partnership will promote excellence in research and healthcare. By collaborating with the Polymath Society, we aim to explore new avenues for knowledge exchange, research, and transformative innovations for society.”

Rajeev Singh, President of the Polymath Society, expressed his commitment, stating, “Through this MoU, we will work towards bringing tangible changes in the fields of food safety and health.”
