CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, Prof. Ajay Singh, participated as the Chief Guest at the two-day Health Fair organized by the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

The event concluded with a formal seminar where Prof. Singh emphasized the importance of lifelong learning and interdisciplinary collaboration in medical sciences. Addressing the gathering, he highlighted the critical role of education and research in improving healthcare outcomes. He stated, “Life is a continuous learning journey. Students must deeply understand and engage with the nuances of medical science, as this forms the foundation of meaningful healthcare.”

Prof. Singh appreciated the university’s progressive work in the fields of AYUSH, Panchakarma, and Ayurveda. He remarked, “I am impressed by the advancements being made here. I encourage AIIMS Bhopal’s doctors and students to visit and learn about the research and innovations happening here.”

Highlighting the significance of Ayurveda, Prof. Singh said, “Ayurveda is a priceless amalgamation of our religious and scientific heritage. It offers immense opportunities for exploration and learning. The new discoveries at BHU’s Institute of Medical Sciences should reach the most underserved sections of society.”

He also stressed the need for continuous efforts to bridge the existing gaps in the healthcare sector in a developing country like India. The Health Fair was also attended by Dr. S.N. Sankhwar, Director of BHU’s Institute of Medical Sciences.
