In line with this vision, a group of 36 law student trainees under the Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission visited the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology for an academic tour. The program commenced with a welcome address by Head of Department Dr. Arneet Arora, who highlighted the importance of post-mortem procedures, documentation, and reporting. He also informed that under the guidance of Director Ajay Singh, the department has established an Analytical Toxicology Lab and a Forensic Histopathology Lab.

During the visit, the students explored various labs including the Forensic Museum, Autopsy Room, and Cold Storage, and observed practical demonstrations of the “Chain of Custody,” evidence collection, and infection control processes.

Director Ajay Singh stated, “Forensic medicine serves as a bridge between justice and human rights protection. Such academic visits help students become more responsible citizens.”
