CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, Ajay Singh, delivered a keynote speech on the ‘TB-Free India Campaign’ at the Indira Gandhi National Museum, Bhopal. This campaign is a dream project of the Honorable Prime Minister, aimed at making India tuberculosis (TB) free.

In his address, Prof. Singh emphasized that the goal of this significant initiative by the Government of India is not only to ensure the identification and treatment of TB cases but also to raise awareness and sensitivity about the disease in society.

Highlighting various aspects of the campaign, he stated that AIIMS Bhopal is fully dedicated to achieving this goal and is making extensive efforts in this direction. He mentioned that under the TB-Free India Campaign, AIIMS Bhopal is regularly conducting health awareness programs, special drives for identifying TB patients, and activities aimed at increasing community awareness and sensitivity.

He urged all healthcare providers, government agencies, and different sections of society to actively participate in the campaign. Prof. Singh also announced that AIIMS Bhopal will organize several special programs and health check-up camps in the coming months to promote the identification and effective treatment of TB patients.

The event saw participation from various health sector experts, medical students, and other stakeholders, who engaged in an in-depth discussion on the topic. AIIMS Bhopal, playing a leading role in this campaign, remains committed to achieving the goal of TB elimination in India.
