CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: AIIMS Bhopal, under the leadership of its Executive Director Prof. Ajay Singh, observed World Population Day by raising public awareness about issues related to population growth. On this occasion, the institute emphasized the importance of family planning, reproductive health, and the prudent use of resources.
This year’s theme, “Empowering Youth for a Fair and Hopeful Future in Building the Family of Their Choice,” highlights young people’s reproductive health and their right to make informed decisions.
AIIMS Bhopal appealed to all citizens to consider balanced population growth as the foundation of a healthy, inclusive, and sustainable society and to support equal access to family planning and maternal and child health services.
Prof. Ajay Singh remarked, “Empowering youth through knowledge, access, and choices is the key to sustainable development. Population balance is not just about numbers—it is about improving quality of life, securing the future, and ensuring dignity for every individual. AIIMS Bhopal is committed to public awareness, education, and strengthening health services to achieve these goals.”
On this occasion, AIIMS Bhopal released digital awareness messages and promoted community-level awareness through health education units.
