CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: AIIMS Bhopal organized a grand yoga program on Saturday to mark the 11th International Yoga Day. This year’s event was held under the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, and was coordinated by the Department of AYUSH at AIIMS Bhopal. The program commenced at 6:30 AM at the Gandhi Gallery (IPD Building).

Under the leadership of Executive Director Ajay Singh, faculty members, students, staff, and members of the public participated in the event. Trained yoga instructors guided the attendees through asanas and pranayama as per the Common Yoga Protocol, creating a positive and peaceful atmosphere.

The program was graced by the presence of Nikhil Gajraj, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India; Sunil Malik, Chairperson of AIIMS Bhopal; Prof. Rajneesh Joshi, Dean (Academics); Mayank Kapoor, Deputy Director (Administration); and Dr. Mayank Dixit, Medical Superintendent.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Ajay Singh stated, “Yoga is a medium to establish harmony between the body, mind, and environment. AIIMS Bhopal is not only a center for treatment but is also playing a leading role in preventive and awareness-based healthcare.”

The event concluded with a sense of collective energy, peace, and dedication, reflecting the universal value of yoga.
