CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the leadership of AIIMS Bhopal Executive Director Ajay Singh, a yoga, health, and Materiovigilance awareness campaign was conducted at the primary health center and Anganwadi center of Chiklod Kala village. The initiative was supported by the AYUSH Department, Pharmacology Department, and the Community and Family Medicine Department.
The event comprised two major health programs:
Yoga and Health Camp conducted by the AYUSH Department to promote healthy living among the villagers.
Materiovigilance Awareness Campaign by the Pharmacology Department, aimed at educating villagers about the safety and efficacy of medical devices and treatments.
Director Ajay Singh emphasized the significance of such initiatives, stating, “Programs like these are integral to our efforts to promote health and well-being in rural communities. Raising awareness about yoga and materiovigilance empowers villagers to take proactive steps toward better health and safety.”
The AYUSH Department organized a health camp where children and villagers were taught yoga. The camp focused on the benefits of adopting a healthy lifestyle, including cleanliness, balanced diet, and regular exercise. The villagers actively participated in learning yogasanas and pranayama during the session.
Simultaneously, the Materiovigilance Awareness Campaign conducted by the Pharmacology Department highlighted the importance of monitoring the safety and effectiveness of medical devices.
