Recently, Dr. Pankaj Mishra, Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedics, was honored with the prestigious SICOT Spine Fellowship at Aarhus University in Denmark.
During this fellowship, Dr. Mishra received advanced training in spinal treatment methodologies and engaged in deep dialogue with global experts in the field. He also presented his research work and medical services from AIIMS Bhopal, showcasing the institution’s contributions.
While in Denmark, Dr. Mishra discussed global perspectives on patient care and shared knowledge on the most modern treatment techniques. This experience will enhance the quality of spinal disease treatment at AIIMS Bhopal. Subsequently, Dr. Mishra was also invited to the University of Basel in Switzerland for another spine fellowship, where he studied cutting-edge therapeutic approaches for spinal disorders, further enriching his global outlook and strengthening AIIMS Bhopal’s orthopedic capabilities.
A few months ago, Dr. Mishra was also awarded the EuroSpine Fellowship in Vienna, a testament to his expertise and dedication. These international fellowships not only offer opportunities to learn the latest technologies but also serve as platforms to understand diverse approaches to patient care worldwide. The experience and knowledge gained through these fellowships will now directly benefit patients at AIIMS Bhopal, particularly in treating complex spinal conditions.
