CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal, has achieved another significant milestone in medical research and diagnostic services. Under the leadership of Executive Director Prof. Ajay Singh, the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at AIIMS Bhopal has received accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) under ISO 15189:2022 for 88 diagnostic parameters.
Prof. Singh stated, “This accreditation is a symbol of our commitment to every patient to provide services based on high quality and accuracy.” He described this achievement as a major step toward establishing AIIMS Bhopal as a national center of medical excellence.
The credit for this accomplishment goes to the department’s quality management team, led by E. Jaishankar, with Tanya, Hemlata, Jaykumar, and Shakti contributing as Deputy Quality Managers. Faculty members and technical staff such as Mr. Neeraj and Shobha also worked tirelessly to make the process successful.
This recognition not only strengthens AIIMS Bhopal’s patient-centric services based on global standards but also sets an example for quality-based diagnostic healthcare services across the country.
