AIIMS’ Dr. Anshul Rai’s ‘Jaw Surgery’ technique receives copyright from the Government of India.

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the leadership of Executive Professor Ajay Singh, AIIMS’ Additional Professor of the Dentistry Department, Dr. Anshul Rai, has been granted copyright by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, for the ‘Sagittal Split Osteotomy’ technique. Sagittal Split Osteotomy is a type of jaw surgery in which the lower jaw is separated from the upper jaw and then repositioned forward or backward before being reattached. This surgery helps correct the alignment of teeth and the size of the jaw. Dr. Anshul Rai mentioned that this surgery would be a boon for individuals with facial deformities, as it will not only help them physically but also boost their confidence.

For this innovative technique, Dr. Ajay Singh congratulated Dr. Anshul Rai on his success and stated that this technique will bring positive changes to the lives of many people.
