CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The AISECT Group has consistently been a leader in education, skill development, innovation, and social progress, as well as in promoting physical and sports activities. In this spirit, the grand Sports Achievers Award 2025 will be organized at Sayaji Hotel. On this occasion, talented athletes who have brought honor not only to the state but also to the entire country through their outstanding performances will be felicitated. Along with athletes, coaches associated with various sports will also be specially honored. The program’s chief guest will be Vishwas Kailash Sarang, Minister of Sports, Youth Welfare, and Cooperation, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
The distinguished guests include Ashok Dhyan Chand, Arjuna Award-winning Olympic medalist and veteran of the Indian Hockey Team; Madan Lal Sharma, member of the 1983 World Cup-winning Indian Cricket Team and Arjuna Award recipient; and Rakesh Gupta, Director, Department of Sports & Youth Welfare, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The event will be chaired by Santosh Chaubey, Chairman of AISECT Group and Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University.
A total of 88 athletes and 11 coaches will be honored during the ceremony. Among the awardees:

Hockey (International) – 3 athletes
Judo – 7 athletes
Paralympic – 1 athlete
Shooting – 6 athletes
Boxing – 2 athletes
Sailing – 3 athletes
Kayaking/Canoeing – 1 athlete
Wrestling – 2 athletes
Rowing – 13 athletes
Mallakhamb – 12 athletes
Karate – 11 athletes
Wushu – 1 athlete
Athletics – 1 athlete
Fencing – 4 athletes
Grappling – 1 athlete
Additionally, 3 athletes from SGSU and 11 coaches associated with various sports will also be honored.
