AISECT Group of Universities recorded active and impactful participation at the 47th All India Public Relations Conference organized by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) in Dehradun. The three-day national conference, themed “Developed India @2047: Development and Heritage”, was inaugurated by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who emphasized the critical role of communication, public relations, and education in building a developed India.
The conference saw participation from experts across public relations, communications, education, administration, and policy sectors from all over India.
During the event, AISECT participants engaged in discussions with experts on topics such as challenges in public relations in the digital era, the impact of artificial intelligence, misinformation prevention, cybersecurity, and crisis communication. They also deliberated on MOU-based collaborations between higher education institutions and industry, skill development, startup culture, and employment-oriented education frameworks, which were considered strategically important for future planning.
Representing AISECT Group of Universities, Rupendra Singh Chauhan, Public Relations Officer, AISECT Headquarters; Dr. Yogesh Patel, Assistant Professor, Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal; and Kishore Singh, Public Relations Officer, Dr. C.V. Raman University, Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), actively participated in various technical and thematic sessions, discussing contemporary issues in higher education and public relations with subject matter experts.
Dr. Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Director & Pro-Chancellor, Rabindranath Tagore University, AISECT Group, stated that,
“In today’s era, public relations has become a powerful medium for higher education institutions to effectively convey their academic objectives and social responsibilities to society. National platforms like PRSI strengthen long-term collaborations and MOU-based partnerships between education and industry.”
The University’s Registrar, Dr. Sangeeta Johri, added that the dialogues and interactions during the national conference will be useful for AISECT Group of Universities in academic innovation, industry participation, and developing professional competencies, helping students receive education and training aligned with current requirements.
The conference highlighted AISECT Group’s research in emerging technologies, international collaborations, entrepreneurship development, and industry-linked education models, demonstrating the group’s continuous commitment to quality, affordable, and skill-based higher education.
