CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress / ITDC News Bhopal: AIU 2018 was organized by LNCT University under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. The grand opening of the Zonal Rope Skipping (Women & Men) Competition 2023-24 was held at LNCT University Auditorium, Kolar Road, Bhopal.
A march past was performed by all the university players on the inaugural occasion of the competition. The competition was inaugurated by Chief Guest Anupam Chouksey, Chancellor, JNCT Professional University, Prof. N.K. Singh. Thapak Vice Chancellor, Ajit Soni Registrar, Pankaj Kumar Jain Sports Director LNCT University, Dr. B.S. Pawar HOD School’s Physical Education, R.K. Sharma Competition Convenor, Tanwant Singh Competition Secretary.
On this occasion, coaches and managers from various universities were honored. All referees were awarded T-shirts.
The three-day AIU In the Zonal Rope Skipping Competition, 350 women and men players from 35 universities are participating.
This AIU In the Zonal Rope Skipping Competition, Master Event includes One Leg Switch, Free Style, Speed Jogger, and Team Event Double Touch Single Freestyle, Single Touch L Three Speed events. In the first event of the competition, gold medal in one leg switch men’s category was won by Ayush Diwakar Barkatullah University Bhopal, silver medal was won by Aman Solanki LNCT University Bhopal, bronze medal was won by Anant Shukla Mahatma Gandhi University Varanasi
