CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal  /  Mumbai  :  Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Thursday downplayed the political significance of the recent meeting between Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Uddhav Thackeray, and former CM Devendra Fadnavis, stating that there is no need to “give it an angle.” Pawar emphasized that maintaining communication within party leadership and with allies is a long-standing tradition and part of normal political discourse.

Speaking to reporters, Pawar said, “Meetings and discussions among leaders are common and should not be over-interpreted. Our focus remains on governance, development, and addressing public issues.” He added that the state government continues to function smoothly, and such interactions do not signal any political shifts.

Observers note that the meeting had sparked speculation about possible alignments or policy decisions, but Pawar’s remarks aim to reassure the public and party workers that stability remains intact. Analysts suggest that emphasizing routine communication is a strategy to project unity and transparency in governance.

Pawar further stated that dialogue between leaders is essential for resolving administrative challenges and ensuring efficient decision-making. He urged media and political commentators to avoid overanalyzing routine meetings, stressing that citizen welfare and policy implementation are the government’s top priorities.

With elections approaching, Pawar’s statements appear intended to maintain calm within party ranks and reinforce the message that the government’s focus remains on development and public service.
