CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of the Mahaparinirvan Diwas of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, Shri Bhagwandas Sabanani, BJP State General Secretary and MLA, paid tribute by garlanding his statue at Ambedkar Nagar in Ward 28 of the South-West Assembly constituency.
Shri Sabanani remarked, “Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar ensured constitutional provisions for the upliftment of Dalits and marginalized communities, granting them equal rights across the country. It is a matter of pride that under the leadership of BJP stalwarts like former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dr. Ambedkar’s birthplace, the site of his initiation, and his Mahaparinirvan site have been established as the ‘Panchteerth.’ Today, people from all walks of life visit these places, drawing inspiration from Baba Saheb to contribute to society. We should all strive to follow Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals.”
He concluded by offering floral tributes and homage to Dr. Ambedkar, saying, “I bow with respect on Baba Saheb’s Mahaparinirvan Diwas and dedicate my heartfelt tributes at his feet.”
The event was attended by Municipal Corporation President Kishan Suryavanshi, councilors Brijula Sachan and Aarti Aneja, and prominent figures like Lilendra Maran, Leeladhar Yadav, Raju Aneja, Rajesh Khatik, Santosh Brahmbhatt, Mukesh Dahade, along with a large number of party workers from the South-West Assembly constituency.
