CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan suffered a knee injury during the shooting of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 18’. Amitabh himself shared information about the injury in a recent episode. He said that his foot slipped during the previous day’s shoot, after which he fell and injured his knee. Because of the injury, he was facing some difficulty standing.
Amitabh Bachchan usually begins KBC episodes by standing at the centre of the stage and delivering a monologue in his signature style. However, after the injury, he interacted with the audience while seated and began the show from his chair. He said that because he was having difficulty standing, he had decided to deliver the monologue while seated.
Amitabh also assured the audience that the injury was not serious. He said he would stand when needed during interactions with contestants and while hosting, but sitting for the remaining portions would be more comfortable for him. After news of the injury emerged, viewers of the show and his fans wished him a speedy recovery. Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting the 18th season of KBC. Despite the injury, he continued the shoot and took the episode forward in the usual manner.
