CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Today’s day will be written in golden letters in the history of Bhoj Open University, Madhya Pradesh. Under the leadership of the university’s chancellor, Sanjay Tiwari, three major agreements have been signed by the university. The first agreement was concluded with the CEI (Consortium for Educational Communication). Through this agreement, students of the university will benefit from thousands of high-quality educational videos and online courses of CEI. The second agreement was made with BECIL (Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited) for the establishment of audio/video studios at the university.

The third and final agreement was signed with Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar. Under this agreement, a building can be constructed in an area of 20000 square feet for the regional center of Bhoj Open University at the Sagar University campus. This land will be provided by Sagar University within its premises. The signing ceremony of the agreements was held in the university’s auditorium. Representatives from three different institutions participated as guests in the event. J.B. Nadda, Director of CEI, New Delhi, was present as the chief guest. The main speakers at the event were Prof. Neelima Gupta, Chancellor, Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar, and Mr. Vipin Bihari Pandey, Deputy General Manager, BECIL, New Delhi. The program was chaired by Dr. Sanjay Tiwari, Chancellor of Bhoj Open University, and the vote of thanks was given by Dr. Sushil Manderia, Secretary of the University.

In her welcoming speech, Chancellor Sanjay Tiwari of the university, while giving her inspiring address, said that online education is the future. Keeping this in mind, we are going to sign agreements with the university and CEI. CEI has a repository of digital educational content. Students of Bhoj Open University can benefit from CEI’s educational content. She said that knowledge increases by sharing. For this, a digital lounge is being set up in the university. This digital content will help enhance the quality of education for the students of Bhoj Open University. Dr. Tiwari said that the overall enrollment ratio of higher education in India is about 28%, while our target is to increase the overall enrollment ratio to 50% by 2035. Bhoj Open University is making every effort to increase overall enrollment and the agreements being signed today with all three institutions will definitely help in this direction.

On this occasion, Dr. Neelima Gupta, Chancellor of Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar, said that a goal of the National Education Policy 2020 is not only to develop skills through education but also to improve the quality of life. India needs to be developed as a global hub. The children of the new generation need education in digital form, and Bhoj Open University is taking a very important step today. Through today’s agreements, the university will receive academic cooperation from Sagar University and will also have assistance in the development of digital e-content.

Thanking everyone in the program, Sushil Manderia, Secretary of Bhoj Open University, said that today Bhoj Open University is taking a step towards a new era of digital education. If the communication revolution has reached the last person in the country, there is no doubt that digital education will also reach the last person. He said that Bhoj Open University is striving to spread higher education to the last person, and the program was conducted by Ratan Suryavanshi, Director of Student Assistance at the university.
