CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the “Seva Se Sankalp” campaign, also being conducted as Seva Pakhwada to mark the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, an “Aangan Milan Seva” programme was organised at Amrai in Bagsewania, Anganwadi Centre No. 735, in the Govindpura Assembly constituency of Bhopal.
Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Krishna Gaur conducted a detailed inspection of the anganwadi centre, interacted with young children, gathered information about their creative activities and planted saplings on the premises to convey the message of environmental protection.
Gaur said anganwadi workers are faithfully carrying out the sacred responsibility of ensuring the all-round development, education and nutrition of children from deprived and needy sections of society. She said these centres are not merely a medium for nutrition distribution, but also places where children receive education, values and motherly affection.
She said honouring these dedicated workers through the “Seva Se Sankalp” campaign was a matter of great pride and satisfaction.
During the programme, anganwadi workers and assistants from the area who have provided outstanding services were honoured for their exemplary contribution. The guests appreciated the paintings and activities prepared by the children and distributed gifts to them with affection.
Minister of State Pratima Bagri, Jyoti Singh, Ashwini Paranjape, Sapna Verma, Mona Sustani, Pragya Tripathi, Monika Thakur and Sheela Patidar, along with a large number of public representatives, social workers and local residents, were present on the occasion.
