CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairy (Independent Charge), Lakhan Patel, has stated that there is no better way to increase farmers’ income than through dairy production. The Madhya Pradesh Cooperative Dairy Federation is bringing new, high-quality products to the market under its Sanchi brand. Today, Sanchi launched its Natural Coconut Water, which is of excellent quality and highly beneficial for health. In the future, the dairy federation also plans to introduce products made from minor millets like kodo and kutki to the market.

Minister Patel inaugurated the sale of Sanchi’s new product, pasteurized Natural Coconut Water, at the main dairy plant of the Bhopal Cooperative Dairy Federation. Present at the event were the President of the Veterinary Council of India, Umesh Sharma, and Director of Animal Husbandry and Dairy, Dr. P.S. Patel, among others. Minister Patel personally tasted the coconut water and praised its quality. All attendees also tasted the Sanchi Coconut Water and described it as both high-quality and flavorful.

Minister Patel noted that the Bhopal Dairy Federation’s revenue has been steadily increasing, with a profit of approximately 700 crore rupees achieved this year so far. The federation not only works for the benefit of farmers but is also committed to the welfare of its employees. Now, along with the farmers, insurance will also be provided to employees.

Patel emphasized that the core principle of cooperation is transparency and delivering benefits to every member involved. The government is working on this principle with the goal of maximizing income for dairy farmers, making continuous efforts to achieve it.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Bhopal Dairy Federation, R.P. Tiwari, explained that after products like milk, yogurt, shrikhand, Brij peda, Keshav peda, Sanchi Neer, and Sanchi kheer, the federation has now launched its latest product, pure natural and pasteurized “Sanchi Coconut Water,” in the market. This product is sourced and bottled in 200 ml containers in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, in the Coimbatore district, at a market price of ₹50 per bottle with a shelf life of 9 months. The coconut water is extracted from fresh coconuts using hands-free technology, pasteurized at 99 degrees Celsius using the retort method, and then bottled. Tiwari also shared future plans for launching additional products like bread, tea leaves, and chips under the Sanchi brand.
