CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Actress Anjali Arora is currently in the spotlight for playing Mata Sita in the film ‘Mahakavya Shri Ramayan Katha’. After the film’s trailer was released, some users on social media questioned her casting and trolled her. Anjali has now responded to the criticism.
During the trailer launch, when Anjali was asked about the trolling, she said she was not hurt by it. According to her, artistes are part of public life and audiences have the right to like or dislike their work. She said she tries to perform every role with complete dedication.
Anjali also responded to criticism over her old ‘Kacha Badam’ dance video. She said dance is her passion and she is not ashamed of it. She questioned why an artiste’s acting ability, or capacity to play any character, should be judged because they dance.
The actress appealed to audiences to view her social media image and her film character separately. She said that while watching the film, viewers should set aside her personal life and social media identity and focus on her character. ‘Mahakavya Shri Ramayan Katha’ is scheduled to release in theatres on September 25, 2026.
