CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Public Health and Medical Education Department organized a training program in Bhopal for district trainers to implement the new version 2.0 of the Anmol RCH Portal. In the first phase of training, 138 trainers were provided with detailed information on using the new Anmol mobile application and web portal.

During the training session, MD NHM Dr. Saloni Sidana emphasized that the proper use of the Anmol App will ensure better monitoring, leading to improved health management for pregnant women, mothers, and newborns.

The Anmol RCH Portal is a digital platform that simplifies the tracking and management of health services provided to pregnant women, newborns, and mothers. The new version enhances pregnant women’s registration, high-risk pregnancy identification, delivery records, and newborn & child health service entry processes, making them more efficient. This will enable effective monitoring of these services at the district and state levels.

This portal is a crucial initiative under the Maternal and Child Survival Mission, aimed at reducing maternal and infant mortality rates. It also facilitates seamless e-KYC-based payments for Janani Suraksha Yojana and Maternity Assistance Scheme, ensuring timely and eligible payments to beneficiaries.
