CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At Sant Hirdaram Girls College, Bhopal, an awareness and sensitization program was organized under the Sankalp (Resolution) initiative by the Anti-Ragging Committee and the Women’s Cell. The program was conducted based on official letters and guidelines received from the National Human Rights Commission. Its main objective was to focus on anti-ragging, gender-based violence, and human rights awareness.

The chief speaker for the session was Kashish Singh Jaiswal, while Pooja Bankhede and Shikha Bankhede served as session trainers. The chief speaker familiarized students with anti-ragging rules, gender-based violence, student rights, safety measures, and the importance of equality, respect, and mutual dignity.

During the program, the College Principal Dr. Dalima Parwani addressed the students, stating that ragging is a violation of human rights and that creating a safe, inclusive, and conducive academic environment is the institution’s top priority. She urged students to cooperate and maintain discipline.

The entire session was informative and interactive, with active participation from the students. The program successfully raised awareness among students and contributed to promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment, aligning with the objectives of the National Human Rights Commission.
