CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News New Delhi: SAEINDIA will host the 23rd Asia Pacific Automotive Engineering Conference at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi on November 13 and 14, according to an October 22 release from the Ministry of Heavy Industries.
The organisers expect more than 1,000 delegates and 500 mobility experts, with over 150 technical presentations and 80 exhibitors. India will host the conference for the second time, after a 15-year gap. The regional forum represents engineering communities from 11 countries.
Discussions will cover electric and other powertrains, connected vehicles, road safety, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, lightweight materials and vehicle emissions. Researchers, manufacturers, component suppliers, engineering firms and policymakers are among the intended participants.

A start-up platform called TechHive is planned alongside the exhibition and technical sessions. It is intended to connect emerging mobility businesses with established companies, technology specialists and potential collaborators. A technology theatre within the exhibition will provide space for presentations on products and engineering developments.
