CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At Shri Saty Sai Women’s College, Bhopal, which has been awarded an A+ grade by NAAC, an orientation program ‘Arambhika 2025’ was organized for newly admitted first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students along with their parents.

The event was primarily conducted for parents, with the aim of facilitating direct, meaningful interaction between parents and students. This allowed parents to become familiar with the college’s plans and activities while also addressing their queries.

In keeping with Indian tradition, parents were welcomed with a ceremonial tilak. The program commenced with lighting of the lamp and Vedic chanting.

In her welcome address, Dr. Anju Bajpai, Principal of the College of Law, said that the college is a stronghold of values. The teachers are dedicated to the holistic development of students, nurturing them with the same intensity as a flame burning to provide light.

Dr. Archana Srivastava, Principal, emphasized that the multi-dimensional development of students is the college’s core objective. She noted that worship and rituals serve as a source of vitality in the present, helping students overcome stress and prepare for future challenges. She added that innovation stems from a foundation rooted in tradition and that value-based education and cultural upbringing are essential.

Dr. Pratibha Singh, Director of the college, stated that the institution is one of excellence. She highlighted that engaging personally with the college allows one to experience its ethos. The institution is committed to imparting high-quality, value-based, and culturally rich education, alongside fostering human virtues and spirituality, in line with Baba’s divine mission.

Dr. Neena Arora, IQAC In-Charge, expressed gratitude to Shri Satya Sai Baba and elaborated on the college’s academic framework and unique features.

Dr. Shreeji Seth, Head of the Political Science Department, provided a detailed explanation of the NEP-2020 (National Education Policy) curriculum.

During the program, students presented a vibrant cultural program. At the conclusion, five lucky numbers were drawn to honor selected parents and students.

The entire faculty, including Vice Principal Dr. Renu Mishra, attended the program. The event was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr. Smita Nair, Head of the Mathematics Department. Dr. Shobhana Srivastava, in charge of the Student Union, delivered the vote of thanks.

The program concluded with the National Anthem.
