CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Art of Living–Sri Sri Naisargik has highlighted WARO-C6, an innovative technology designed to address air pollution in urban environments through a filterless approach to capturing dust, particulate matter and harmful gases.

The technology has been developed as a clean-air solution that can operate without conventional filters, ionisation, ultraviolet light or high-voltage systems. According to information provided by the technology developer, WARO-C6 uses low-voltage solar power and a software-controlled mechanism for its operation.

WARO-C6 is designed for deployment in locations where pollution levels are a persistent concern, including urban roads and other congested areas. Different variants have been proposed for applications such as streetlights, indoor spaces and other pollution-prone environments. The technology has also been promoted as a low-maintenance system capable of continuous operation.

A key feature of the technology is its claimed ability to capture pollutants including dust and particulate matter along with gases such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide. The developer says the captured material can also be repurposed for products such as construction paver blocks and dyes, linking the system with a circular-economy approach.

The technology is being positioned as a complementary solution for cleaner urban environments rather than a replacement for natural systems. Its potential application in areas with heavy traffic and concentrated pollution could support broader efforts to improve local air quality.

With increasing concerns over urban air pollution, technologies such as WARO-C6 reflect the growing focus on scalable, renewable-energy-based and low-maintenance approaches to pollution management. Independent assessment at larger scale will remain important in determining the technology’s effectiveness across different urban conditions.
