CNN Central News and Network – ITDC India Express / ITDC News Bhopal:
The Artemis-II mission represents a significant step in human space exploration, in which astronauts will be sent on a lunar orbit. This mission will pave the way for future human landings on the Moon and deep space missions. It is scheduled to launch on 2 April 2026, according to Indian Standard Time (IST).
In this context, the Bhopal Regional Science Centre successfully organized a live interactive session titled “Your Questions, Our Answers” on the Artemis-II mission, which saw enthusiastic participation from students and science enthusiasts. During the program, participants displayed great curiosity and excitement. Students actively engaged in the interactive session, posing questions that were answered in a simple and engaging manner.

The session included detailed discussions on the mission’s objectives, its role in human space exploration, contributions from previous space missions, and the journey to current scientific achievements. It also highlighted future dimensions of lunar and space research. The main aim of the session was to spark interest in space science among students and to inspire them to pursue careers in scientific research. Students were encouraged with the message that, with determination and sustained effort, they too could become the first Indians to step on the Moon in the future.
Following the session, an open-house quiz on the Artemis mission was conducted, in which students participated enthusiastically, answered questions, and received awards. Through such programs, the Bhopal Regional Science Centre continues to foster scientific thinking and curiosity among students.
