CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Former Union Minister of India and former President of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee, Arun Yadav, has raised several questions and accused the BJP-led Mohan government of fraud in connection with the recently held Investors Summit in Sagar. He has demanded answers from the government. Yadav pointed out the case of a company signing two agreements for the same project and accused the government of deceiving the people of Sagar district.

In a tweet on his social media account ‘X’, Arun Yadav shared two images, stating that during the Investors Summit held in Khurai on October 5, 2023, a company signed an MoU to establish a data center worth ₹1200 crores in Khurai. However, the same company later signed another MoU at the Regional Industry Conclave in Sagar, claiming to build a data center worth ₹1700 crores in Surkhi.

Raising concerns about this, he said, “The same company is signing MoUs twice for the same project.” He further commented that while irregularities in Investors Summits were heard of, now the government has also created confusion in the MoUs themselves.

Former MP Congress President Arun Yadav accused the government of deceiving the people of Sagar district and fired several questions regarding the Investors Summit. He asked, “Is the Madhya Pradesh government just interested in signing MoUs to stay in the media or will it actually work on the ground? Has the government been unable to allocate land for the data center company in a year?” He questioned the government, “If land was allocated in Khurai, then why is there a need to shift to Surkhi?” He expressed concern and asked whether the data center, initially planned for Khurai, was shifted to Surkhi due to internal conflicts among BJP leaders. He also questioned if bureaucracy is still dominant in the Madhya Pradesh government.
