CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of the launch of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, the ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ programme will be organised in Bhopal district with broad public participation. Under the programme, lamps will be lit collectively at 17 prominent locations in Bhopal’s urban area and 11 key locations in the rural area.
From the city’s historic monuments, major intersections, ghats, temples and public places to village shrines, ponds and community premises, these lamps will convey the message of service, dedication, social harmony and a resolve for public welfare.
In Bhopal’s urban area, lamps will be lit at Bhanpur Khanti, Raja Bhoj statue on VIP Road, Shaheed Dwar in Shahjahanabad, Manuabhan Tekri, Roshanpura Square, Shaurya Smarak, Namo Van Lalghati, 74 Bungalows Link Road, Prempura Ghat, Rani Kamlapati statue at Arch Bridge, Birla Mandir, AIIMS Hospital, Rani Kamlapati Railway Station, Durga Mandir Geetanjali, Braj Colony Karond, Unani Shafakhana Marwari Road and Shabban Square.
The lamps lit at these sites, which represent the capital’s glorious history, faith, valour and modern development, will connect the entire city with a shared spirit of service and positivity.
Village shrines, ponds and public premises will also be illuminated. In rural Bhopal, lamps will be lit at the Ramdev Baba temple premises in Gram Panchayat Chanderi, Amrit Sarovar in Aredi, near the pond temple in Imaliya, Hanuman temple in Pataniya, near the river at Intkhedi Sadak, Patel Baba temple in Amoni, the community shed in Sikandarabad, the pond temple in Bagroda, near the pond nursery in Barkhedi Bajyaft, near Pathshala pond in Barkheda Bondar and Harihar temple in Phanda Kalan.
The lamp-lighting events to be held at water bodies, temple premises and community sites in rural areas will connect villages with the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and convey the message of social unity, collective participation and village development.
