Nagoya. India will have several important contests on September 30 at the Asian Games 2026. Indian athletes will be in action across archery, shooting, boxing, wrestling, judo, cycling, squash and hockey, among other sports. On the previous day, India won eight medals, including two gold, one silver and five bronze.

The day will begin at 5:55 am with archery, where the Indian women’s compound team will play the semifinal against South Korea. This will be followed by mixed and men’s compound team events. At 6:10 am, shooter Anish will compete in qualification for the men’s 25m rapid fire pistol event.

At 7:23 am, wrestler Nisha will compete in the 68kg category, while at 7:47 am Sunil Kumar will challenge in the 87kg Greco-Roman category. In judo, Asmita Dey will compete in the 48kg category. In golf, Veer Ahlawat, Saptak Talwar and Yuvraj Sandhu will participate in the men’s individual event.

In boxing, Priya will compete in the 60kg semifinal at 10:15 am, Lovlina Borgohain in the 75kg semifinal at 10:45 am and Kapil Pokharia in the 90kg semifinal at 12 noon. In shooting, India will have a medal opportunity if it reaches the final of the trap mixed team event.

One of the day’s major contests will be the Indian women’s hockey team’s semifinal against South Korea at 3:30 pm. In squash, the women’s team will play Singapore and the men’s team will face Kuwait in the quarterfinals. Results in wrestling, archery and shooting could have a direct impact on India’s medal tally.
