CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Sant Hirdaram Girls College, Bhopal is pleased to announce that a team of 10 faculty members successfully participated in a prestigious Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the topic: “Defamation Claims in the Era of Deepfakes: Safeguarding Security and Privacy in Democratic India.” The program was organized by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, UTD, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal, under the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy.
This FDP focused on the challenges posed by AI-generated deepfake technologies, which affect defamation, privacy protection, cybersecurity, and the integrity of democratic systems. The program featured specialized sessions on legal frameworks, digital forensic techniques, IT regulations, data protection strategies, ethical use of emerging technologies, and measures to counter misinformation and identity manipulation in the digital era.
