CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Applications have been invited from progressive farmers of the district for awards in various categories for the evaluation year 2025-26 under the “ATMA” scheme, operated under the Submission on Agricultural Extension (SMAE).
Farmers who have played a notable role in making agriculture a profitable enterprise and increasing agricultural production can submit their applications by 15 October 2026.
Farmers working in the fields of agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries and agricultural engineering can apply for the block-level best farmer award. The prescribed application formats can be obtained from the district office of the ATMA project. The application form must be filled out completely and submitted to the office within the stipulated time limit.
Under the scheme, the prize amount has been fixed at Rs 10,000 for the block-level best farmer award and Rs 25,000 for the district-level best farmer award.
Interested farmers can contact the Office of the Project Director, ATMA, Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development, Divisional Farmers’ Hostel Building, SIATI Campus, Barkhedi Kalan, District Bhopal (M.P.), for information related to applications and entries. Progressive farmers of Bhopal district have been appealed to submit their applications within the prescribed deadline.
