All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary and Uttar Pradesh in-charge, Avinash Pandey, was warmly welcomed by local Congress leaders upon his arrival in Sagar. During his visit, he participated in a tribute ceremony for the late Munna Shukla, a respected social worker and Pandey’s relative. Pandey expressed his condolences to the grieving family.
Madhya Pradesh Congress Vice President and former Seva Dal National President Mahendra Joshi also met Pandey and paid homage to Munna Shukla at the ceremony.
Prominent Congress leaders, including Mahendra Joshi, former Corporation Chairperson Triloki Nath Katare, MP Congress General Secretary Rekha Chaudhary, Sandeep Sablok, Ashish Jyotishi, and Chaman Ansari, joined the event to honor the late Munna Shukla.
Congress members offered floral tributes to Munna Shukla’s portrait, remembering him as a lifelong supporter of the Congress party who significantly contributed to the development of arts, culture, and literature in Sagar. They extended their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Other attendees at the tribute ceremony included Vijay Sahu, Sintu Katare, Mahesh Jatav, Anand Hela, and Sagar Sahu, alongside numerous Congress supporters.
