CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As per the directives of the Madhya Pradesh High Court Jabalpur and under the guidance and presence of Principal District and Sessions Judge Amitabh Mishra, the District Legal Services Authority Bhopal organized a large-scale awareness camp at Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal.
The camp was attended by Principal District and Sessions Judge Amitabh Mishra, District Judge Atul Saxena, Arvind Sharma, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority Aarti Sharma, and District Legal Aid Officer Abhay Singh.
During the camp, Principal District and Sessions Judge Mishra addressed the law students and staff, emphasizing that the law is so extensive that it is better understood practically rather than just through reading. He explained that laws are principles created between us and you, and there is a perception among the public that the government enacts laws or rules for societal improvement. As law students, it is your duty not only to consider becoming a lawyer or a judge or choosing another profession but also to work for the betterment of society and the nation. Think about what you will provide to the next generation to ensure the safety and development of society and the nation.
Additionally, Aarti Sharma, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Arvind Sharma, and Atul Saxena, District Judges, provided detailed information to students about developing ethics in society, contributing to it, as well as cybercrime and new laws.
At the end of the program, law students presented a street play on drug addiction. The event was coordinated by Ms. Yash Tiwari, Law Faculty, and Dean Sachin Rastogi expressed gratitude.
