Awareness Campaign on Medical Devices by AIIMS Pharmacology Department

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the guidance of Prof. Ajay Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS, the Pharmacology Department of AIIMS, which serves as MDMC and RTC-M for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh under the Indian Materiovigilance Program (MvPI), conducted an awareness campaign on adverse events related to medical devices.

The program, held at AIIMS’ Rural Health Center in Chiklod Kalan, Raisen district, aimed to educate the local community on recognizing and reporting such incidents. Faizan, Research Associate (Materiovigilance), along with Junior Residents Dr. Pragya Soni and Dr. Shobhit Gautam, highlighted the importance of reporting adverse events related to devices like gloves, masks, and UPT kits. The team also visited the Primary Health Care Center in Chiklod Kalan.
