Ayesha Jhulka, a popular actress from the 90s, starred in several films and was among Bollywood’s top heroines. Back then, safety protocols on film sets were not as strict as they are today. In a recent interview, she shared a shocking incident where she narrowly escaped a life-threatening situation during the shooting of the film ‘Kurbaan’, thanks to Salman Khan’s quick thinking.
In the interview, Ayesha Jhulka revealed that she and Salman were filming on a railway track when a fast-approaching train suddenly appeared. However, Salman acted swiftly and pulled her away just in time, saving her life.
Ayesha explained that in the 90s, film sets did not have walkie-talkies for communication. Instead, crew members either shouted instructions or used a green flag to signal. She recalled that they were shooting on a railway track in Igatpuri and were assured that no train would pass through at that time.
She further shared,
“I was dancing on the track while the cameraman had set up the shot. Salman was supposed to dance first, and after his part was done, it was my turn. Just as I started dancing, a train suddenly appeared! It was extremely close, but Salman quickly pulled me away and saved my life.”
