CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: An appointment letter distribution programme was organised in Ayodhya district for newly appointed Anganwadi workers and helpers. The programme marked an important step towards strengthening the Anganwadi system and improving the delivery of nutrition, healthcare and early childhood development services at the grassroots level.

During the programme, appointment letters were formally distributed to the newly selected Anganwadi workers and helpers. Their appointment is expected to strengthen services for children, pregnant women and lactating mothers across rural and urban communities in the district.

Anganwadi workers and helpers play a significant role in implementing various government welfare programmes related to child nutrition, health awareness, immunisation support, preschool education and maternal care. Their work also helps connect beneficiaries with essential government schemes and services.

The appointment letter distribution programme reflects the administration’s focus on strengthening the workforce responsible for community-level welfare and child development. The newly appointed personnel are expected to discharge their responsibilities with dedication and contribute towards improving the health, nutrition and overall development of children and families in Ayodhya.

The initiative is also expected to provide greater support to the functioning of Anganwadi centres and enhance the reach of government welfare programmes among beneficiaries.
